The Home Dashboard, also known as the Admin Dashboard, provides Admins with an overview of valuable insights related to key metrics for travelers, forms, applications, and programs within Via Global. The data displayed on this dashboard is sourced from the Traveler Dashboard, Program Dashboard, Applications Dashboard, and Forms Dashboard. By clicking on the redirect button associated with a specific metric, users are redirected to the relevant dashboards, complete with the pre-filtered data view. Admins can use this "analytics home base" to easily view and analyze high-level data, enabling them to make informed, data-driven decisions for their organization. Ultimately, this tool enhances organizations' understanding of their programs and population!!
The Home dashboard is broken up into two different sections...
- Activity Feed
- Insights
At the top of the Home Dashboard, administrators can navigate to different product offerings. If admins or organizations do not have access to these solutions Via will block the user before redirecting.
The Activity Feed provides an overview of active travelers within the enrollment funnel, incomplete applications with approaching deadlines, program departing soon with incomplete forms, and program distribution within your program portfolio.
- The Traveler Tracker section (located at the top left) displays how many travelers are in the Interested, Applying and Pre-departure stage of their enrollment journey. These stages are connected to our tracking steps. These stages correspond with an applicant's tracking step. To learn more about our Tracking Steps, click here.
- The Terms Departing Soon section (located at the top right) displays programs that are set to conclude within the next 90 days and still have incomplete traveler forms. This allows admins to navigate to the General Traveler Forms dashboard view to review the list of relevant forms.
- The Upcoming Application Deadlines section (located at the bottom left) displays incomplete program applications with approaching deadlines. This gives administrators the opportunity to engage with travelers before the deadline, maximizing the chances of converting them to Submitted applications.
- The Program Distribution section (located at the bottom right) the composition of your published programs. The pie chart reflects the percentage of internal versus authorized programs in your program portfolio.
Programs that are set to private will be counted in the Program Distribution chart but are not visible to travelers.
The Insights section provides a comprehensive overview of valuable traveler insights, allowing administrators to better understand their student population within a specified date range.
- The Applications Started Over Time section shows the number of applications initiated during the selected date range. This information helps administrators identify the busiest periods for applications started in their organization.
- The 10 Most Favorited Programs section lists the top 10 most popular programs within the organization. When a traveler favorites a program on their program search page, Via tracks its popularity and displays the most up-to-date ranking.
- The Top Participation Barriers section presents a consolidated list of concerns and barriers reported by travelers when completing Via's Traveler Intake. As travelers report their participation concerns, highest to lowest, along with how many travelers indicated this as a concern. If you want to learn more about Intake to Travelers, one of Via's pre-built pre-advising tools, click here.
If Traveler Intake is toggled off for your organization, Via will not collect or record a traveler's participation barrier.
