How do I set or change my Via TRM password?

A password is secret & unique data that allows you to access your account. Regardless of user role, users can set their own password, or, if their organization has implemented Single Sign On (SSO), can use the credentials they’ve set up with their organization.

Organizations without SSO

If your organization does not use SSO for signing in, Via will prompt you to set your password when you create an account. You can, at any point, change or reset your password from either within your account or by following the Forgot Password? workflow.

As an Admin, to change your password from within your account…

  1. Click the photo icon in the main navigation menu
  2. Click Settings
  3. Click My Account tab
  4. Click Password
  5. Type in a new password
  6. Click Change Password

To reset your password without logging in…

  1. Go to www.via-trm.com
  2. Type in the email address used to set up your account
  3. Click Sign In
  4. Click Forgot Password?
  5. Type in your email address and click Send Reset (this may take a few minutes; double check your spam folder if you don’t receive the email; not in your spam folder? email support@via-trm.com for assistance)
  6. From the email you received, click Reset
  7. Type in a new password
  8. Confirm the new password by typing it again in the second box
  9. Click Next
  10. Click Sign In to sign in with your email address and new password

Organizations with SSO

If your organization has SSO, you cannot set, reset, or change your Single Sign On password in Via. Any edits to your SSO password must be done through your organization’s sign in process. Contact your organization for further assistance. Click here for more information on Single Sign On.
