When can Administrators and Travelers edit Traveler applications and Traveler general forms?

Traveler Applications and Traveler General Forms can be edited by Travelers and Admins in Via.

Travelers can edit their application only if it’s in the Incomplete status, whereas Admins with permission can edit Traveler Applications in any status.

Travelers can edit their General Forms only if they are in the Not Started or Started statuses, whereas Admins with permission can edit Traveler General Forms in any status.

Given that a Traveler Application or Traveler General Form has synced data, neither the Admins nor Travelers can edit the synced data. Your home campus is the single source of truth for synced data populating from your student information system. If a synced field needs to be updated, the Traveler, or an Admin on their behalf, must navigate to their student information system to update the field there.

Before or after submission, the following can be edited by admins on Traveler Applications and Traveler General Forms...

  • Responses to non-synced Data fields added to Applications and Forms
  • Application Tags
  • Form Tags
  • Internal Notes
  • + add internal attachment
  • Internal Rating
  • Traveler Application Status
