Administrators with permission have the ability to Uncancel an Internal Term. Uncanceling an Internal Term will revert your Term Status from Canceled to Active. The Term Status can be viewed, filtered and reported on within the Application Dashboard.
If an upcoming Term is uncanceled, where the Term Start date is in the future and the deadline is in the future, the term will appear as an active term in the Term Information tab within the Program Brochure. If a Past Term is uncanceled, where the Term Start date is in the past, the term will not appear in the Term Information tab and will not be visible to travelers on the program brochure.
If the term has an active application deadline, a traveler will be allowed to start and submit an application. However, any traveler with existing applications will not be notified when a Term Status has been updated to Active. Via recommends using our batch messaging feature to communicate with travelers, if desired.

FAQ:
Q: If I uncancel my internal term, are there any negative impacts to my traveler application(s)?
A: Not to worry! Admins have the ability to manage traveler application whether the term is in an Active or Canceled Status.
Q: How does uncanceling a Term impact Via's tracking steps on a traveler's application?
A: When Term Status is updated from Canceled to Active, Via will automatically update the Application's tracking step from Deferred/Withdrawn/Closed to its most up-to-date tracking step. For example, if an Application Status is saved as Committed, the Term Start Date is in the future, and the Term Status is Active Via will update the Application's Tracking Step to 'Pre-departure'.
