How do I delete a Plan Automation?

Plan Automations are automated workflows designed to save administrators time by streamlining repetitive manual tasks based on Plan Type triggers, conditions, and actions. Organizations can create as many customized workflows as needed to support their office's travel registry and risk management processes. Once an Automation is toggled to Inactive, any administrator with permissions can delete it from the Builder.

If a Plan Automation is currently Active, Via will not allow admins to delete it from their site. Instead, admins must first toggle the Plan Automation to Inactive before it can be deleted.

Once a Plan Automation is deleted, all records of the Automation's history are permanently deleted and are irretrievable. 

To delete a Plan Automation...

  1. Click Builder 
  2. Select Automation 
  3. Click Automation Name hyperlink
  4. Confirm the Automation Status to Inactive
    1. If the status is toggled to Active, admins must toggle the status to Inactive
  5. Click on the Action dropdown
  6. Select Delete
  7. Click Continue
