How do I add Traveler Info fields to an Application (template)?

Admins with permission can customize Application (templates) by adding Traveler Information fields. Via has over 80 fields to choose from. In addition, Admins can add any Public Custom Fields created in Via to any Application. For more info on how to create Custom Fields and make them public, click here.

Given that your home campus has a data integration with Via and your campus is sending student information from your home campus system into Via, those data fields will be locked and read only to both Admins and Travelers. Even so, Via recommends adding any Traveler Info field onto your Application if you would ultimately want to report on those data in association with the Application.

For example, if an Admin wants Cumulative GPA associated with an Application, the Admin would add Cumulative GPA as a field on the Application - even if that field is a synced field.
