How do I delete an Event?
Admins with permission can delete an Event at any time. When an Event is deleted, Via will also send a mailer notifying all registered participants of the event's cancellation. The cancellation mailer is pictured below.
Once an Event is deleted all event data and registration records are permanently deleted.
Deleting an Event will not delete a traveler's existing profile. Event participants are not required to create a traveler profile. Via's Events allow anyone to register and attend an event.
To cancel an Event...
- Click Events in the main navigation
- Click the name of the desired Event
- Click Action
- Review the deletion message and type DELETE to confirm
- Click Delete
